The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The service was outstanding. But the front desk staff has to improve. Try to smile. I had the salmon and was very good.

Overall, the taste is really good and the portion is large too. Octopus - the size looks like a main course rather than an appetizer. Fresh and not overwhelmed by the sauces Burrata - the caramelized tomato has a similar taste to some pasta red sauce, which goes well with the Burrata Branzino - it is the WHOLE fish (even with head)!!! We all love this not only due to the size, but the freshness of the brazino. Spaghetti - above average level of squid ink pasta in the city; the lobster carries some notes of sweetness NY Strip - it's served hot; hearing the wonderful sound of the meat on hot plates is also a part of the experience. Tiramisu - in house made and we ordered three!

The Sea Fire Grill never disappoints. You are guaranteed an excellent dining experience. Food and service are always impeccable.

I came in May 2024 for a birthday dinner. We had an absolutely amazing experience. From the time we entered the restaurant the hostess was friendly and inviting. Our reservation was for 6:30. However I arrived early and sat at the bar for drinks with another guest from my party. The bartenders were so attentive and pleasant. They make some awesome drinks. Once we all arrived and sat at the table for dinner the server greeted us right away. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions regarding our food choices to complete satisfaction. Needless to say the food was good. No complaints. The restaurant manager was on point. He made sure all the tables were ok, interacted with patrons and was helping to break down and set tables back up. It was busy but managers know what they are responsible for. The vibe and music was great. I highly recommend. Some may think it's pricey but for the quality service and food received it was all well worth it.

I can't speak for dinner and can only speak for lunch. For a $45 pre fixe menu, the value for the portion is ridiculous. If you are going here for a date and cannot eat much, I would recommend that you share an appetizer with your partner and order an entree each. - Spanish octopus: Tender and beautifully cooked chunks of octopus complemented by the brightness and acidity of bell peppers and cilantro. The saltiness with the sweetness and acidity from the bell peppers, all balanced by the neutralizing effects of the herbaceous cilantro... perfection! - Squid ink spaghetti: I have had countless dishes of this pasta across the country, and the one from Sea Fire Grill is by best my favorite. I don't feel sick after eating the pasta, and I love that there aren't distracting bread crumbs on top. You get to enjoy the well cooked pasta noodles for what they are with the bright juice from tomatoes. Real lobster chunks, too! - The bread starter: It's not the bread but the white fish (with lemon zest?) spread with the sesame cracker that are absolutely delightful

I had a good dinner but it wasn't amazing. I started with the asparagus salad which was low on asparagus and high on greens but with a bright and tasty vinaigrette and it was very, very good. Then I had the Halibut with the lemon gnocchi and chimichurri and it was somehow bland. The fish was perfectly cooked but needed salt and the chimi was more of a paste in texture. It was fine but not great. Then I had shared the molten lava cake and it was good but we make this at home and ours is better and the difference is a pinch of course salt which really makes it pop. The atmosphere is very good and the service was exceptional and I would definitely go back but I would alter my entree order.

TLDR: Upscale seafood experience for those that can afford it. The location is great though a little tucked away. The interior gives off class and calmness like being safe from the purge. The servers and those bussing the tables are frequent, polite, and on point. If you leave your hand on the table long enough they may even pick it up and wash it, they're so attentive. The food is certainly quality and comes relatively quickly. I'm glad I came here to celebrate my birthday. Good food and great cocktails are a solid combination. You will have Manhattan prices for the full service experience so as long as you know that coming in, you will enjoy yourself.

Really nice upscale seafood/steakhouse restaurant in Midtown East. They have a nice $45 3-course lunch prix fixe menu, which is what I ordered from. Spanish Octopus (appetizer) - The octopus was cooked surprisingly well: nice and tender and not too chewy at all. The onions, peppers, and capers also complemented the flavor nicely and added a bit of sweetness. The portion size was a little small though, as it was just a little bit of octopus in the middle of a massive plate. Junior New York Sirloin (entree) - I was a bit disappointed by this steak. They charred it too much to the point where it just tasted burned and that charred flavor and crunchiness definitely took away from the rest of the meat. Apart from that, it was sort of just a normal steak that I honestly could've cooked at home. Tiramisu (dessert) - This was delicious and more of a chocolately flavor as opposed to a coffee flavor (which I personally liked). It was a good fluffy consistency and even had two chocolate sticks in it. The environment here is definitely on the upscale / classy side, with white tablecloths and a spacious seating area. I came for a Monday lunch so not surprisingly, there were only a couple tables occupied at the time. The staff are very professional, friendly, and helpful. The service speed is decent. Overall, I think Sea Fire Grill is a good option if you are looking for a nice lunch/dinner either for a personal celebration, to treat yourself, or for a business meal. While the food could've used a few minor improvements, I am still glad I decided to come here.

Came for dinner with family and arrived 15 min early and we were immediately seated. We ordered drinks and a few apps to start - Oysters, Calamari & Tuna Tartare. For dinner we ordered the Lobster, Tuna and Bronzino. The appetizers were very good and so were the cocktails. The lobster was tough, maybe it was overcooked I'm not sure. The Tuna had an odd seasoning on it that we didn't care for, but the Branzino was very good. The restaurant was very nice but a little noisy. Service was great and loved the apps but dinner was a little off .

I can honestly say that I truly have no bad words for this place .... The attentiveness, the food and the drinks were all amazing and I cant wait to revisit . We were greeted with smiles and offered coat check . Walked through dimly lit bar and to the back where to our table was into an bright and quiet dining area where we were quickly greeted by our waiter . Specials ? They had a few and we tried 2, one was s hamachi appetizer and the other was a risotto fish dish - both divine . We ordered our oysters per usual . A couple bourbon based cocktails and enjoyed our dinner date . Cant wait to come back .
